Axel Bédé is a security and crisis management expert with many years of experience in managing complex security and crisis situations.
He has a highly technical understanding of hybrid threat scenarios and is an expert in specific requirements for effective crisis management. Because the particular danger of many attacks lies not in their visibility, but in their simultaneity and complexity, professional crisis management does not begin only when an incident occurs, but with preparation, clear responsibilities and resilient leadership structures.
Axel Bédé’s focus is on enabling organisations to act quickly, in a coordinated manner and with effective communication in critical situations. This includes sabotage of critical infrastructure, for example in the energy or utilities sector, as occurred in Berlin in early 2026, as well as propaganda and disinformation campaigns designed to deliberately unsettle the public or influence energy and supply flows to generate economic and political pressure.
He works as a consultant in emergency and crisis management and is the author of specialist articles and books on security and crisis management. He also lectures at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Axel Bedé works full-time as a senior detective superintendent at the State Criminal Police Office in Berlin.
